We’re pleased to be offering you this quick, easy and secure service that you’ve asked for: Quick: When you send an Interac e-Transfer, it is cleared within 30 minutes and the recipient can deposit it immediately upon acceptance. Easy to use: All you need is the email address or mobile phone number of the person to whom you want to send money. Secure: Interac e-Transfer offers the same level of security and confidentiality as other trusted online banking transactions. How it works When you send or receive an Interac e-Transfer, the recipient is notified by email or text messaging. Your money never actually travels by email or text message. The email or text message is only used to notify the recipient and to provide instructions on how to deposit the money. The money always resides safely at a financial institution and is transferred through existing payment networks that financial institutions have used for years to settle cheques, bank machine deposits and withdrawals. Fees There is NO FEE for receiving Interac e-Transfers through Manulife Bank online banking. Following are the fees that will be associated with sending Interac e-Transfers through Manulife Bank.
