Advantage Account
You'll receive a high rate of interest on every dollar you deposit into this chequing account. With a multitude of deposit and withdrawal options, including online and telephone transfers, pre-authorized chequing and bill payments, debit card access and low fees, it's an industry-leading account. View Advantage Account demonstration.

Tax-Free Savings Accounts
Manulife Bank has two Tax-Free Savings Accounts:
  • Tax-Free Advantage Account - a bank account that features a tax-free, high rate of interest, no minimum balance and no fees for making deposits and withdrawals.
  • Tax-Free Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) - tax-free guaranteed growth for your investment, available for terms of 1 to 5 years.
A Tax-Free Advantage Account is a perfect way to save for short-term goals such as a new car or a down-payment for a home. The money will grow in the account tax-free and then can be accessed at any time for any purpose without incurring fees or taxes. And contribution room is never lost. The full amount of any withdrawal will be added back to your available contribution room for the following year – so you can continue saving for your next goal.

For more information about these accounts, read our list of Frequently Asked Questions. The Government of Canada TFSA website is another great resource for explanations, ideas and a calculator to help you understand TFSAs and how they could work for you.

Registered Advantage Account
This account is an ideal investment to reduce volatility in your RRSP portfolio while keeping your money accessible. You earn a high rate of interest on your entire balance, with no minimum required, and your money is never locked in. You can make additional deposits and withdrawals anytime without restriction or penalites.1

$US Advantage Account
Earn a high rate of interest on your $US savings without locking your money in. $US Advantage Account has no minimum deposit, no tiers and a competitive, high rate of interest. And you can access your money through online and telephone transfers.

Investment Savings Account
With Investment Savings Account, you earn the high rate of interest on every dollar in the account, without having to worry about or manage maturity dates as you would with other investments such as Treasury Bills or GICs. It is available for registered and non-registered investments, including RRSPs, TFSAs, RRIFs, DPSPs, LIFs, LRIFs, PRIFs and RESPs. Canadian residents or Canadian-registered businesses may purchase the account within a "Nominee Name" account, which is a trust account offered through their financial advisor (chequing, ABM withdrawals, debit purchases and client-initiated online transactions cannot be done).
