Changes to the operating agreement for your deposit account

The following deposit Operating Agreements have been updated:

The revised versions now include one or more of the following updates:

  • Renaming Manulife Bank’s “Complaints Office”, formerly known as the “Customer Care Team” and contact information.
  • Personal Information Statement.
  • Joint account ownership, specifically with respect to signing authority.
  • The Access Card Policy to enhance clarity and to reflect Manulife Bank’s voluntary commitment to the Canadian Code of Practice for Consumer Debit Card Services. This ensures alignment with the Code’s standards and reinforces our dedication to providing the high level of consumer protection it affords.
  • Canadian Payments Association Rule H1.
  • Allowance of registered plan withdrawals under the Home Buyers’ Plan and Lifelong Learning Plan.
