While we’ve launched our new online banking site, there are several features that we’re still updating. When you try to complete these tasks, you’ll be redirected to our old site. Here’s how to complete those items.

First, set up online access to your account:

  1. If you don’t have or don’t know your password, call 1-877-765-2265 to get a temporary password.
  2. Then, you need to create a Manulife ID; go here and follow the steps provided.

Then, you’ll need to link to your Manulife Bank account with your Manulife ID. Here’s how to do that:

  1. Sign in with your Manulife ID.
  2. If prompted, select Manulife Bank.
  3. Enter your bank card access number and the temporary password you were given when you called us.
  4. We’ll send a one-time verification code to your email or mobile phone. Enter that code here.
  5. That’s it! Following these steps will connect your Manulife Bank account to your Manulife ID.
  1. Click Change Password under My Profile in the left menu
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter your new password (it must be 6 to 12 characters and contain both numbers and letters)
  4. Enter your new password again
  5. Click Submit Change
  1. Click Products & services on the left side menu.
  2. Click View statements.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to visit our old banking site.
  4. Click View Statements in the left menu.
  5. Select the account.
  6. Click the Statement date to view your statement.

To transfer money between your Manulife Bank account and your account at another Canadian bank, you need to link your accounts. You can link your other bank accounts to your Manulife Bank accounts in our mobile app, or by completing this form and submitting it through online banking:.

  1. Sign into online banking.
  2. Click Products & services on the left side menu.
  3. Click Upload documents.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to visit our old banking site.
  5. Click Upload Documents under Account services in the left side menu.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to submit your document.
  7. It will take 2-3 business days for your external account to be linked, so check your account after a few days to see if your accounts have been linked.
  1. Click Products & services on the left side menu
  2. Click Order cheques.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to visit our old banking site.
  4. Click Order Cheques in the left side menu.
  5. Choose Standard order now or Custom order now (custom orders go to a different website).
  6. Select the account you would like cheques for.
  7. Check the box next to the joint account owner’s name (if applicable) to include that name on the cheques too.
  8. Confirm your address is correct (this address will appear on your cheques).
  9. Check the box next to your telephone number to include that number on the cheques too.
  10. Select the number of cheques you want.
  11. Enter a different start number if you choose.
  12. To approve the cost and place your order, click Submit Order.

Track part of your debt separately at the same low variable interest rate as your main account.

  1. Select Open Sub-accounts in the left menu.
  2. Read the description of sub-account types.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Select the Manulife One account you want to create a sub-account from.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Enter a sub-account nickname if you choose.
  7. Check your available amount of debt and then enter the amount of debt you want to allocate to this sub-account.
  8. Choose the type of sub-account.
  9. Click Calculate to see the estimated monthly interest-only payments Manulife Bank will withdraw from your main Manulife One account.
  10. Click Continue.
  11. Click Previous to change the details, or Submit if all the details are correct.

You can close your tracking sub-account at any time.

  • Term sub-accounts close automatically when the balance is paid off.
  • To close a term sub-account before the balance is paid off, call 1-877-765-2265.
  • Note that a penalty may apply.
  1. Log into your online banking account
  2. Select Interac e-Transfer from the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
  3. Next, click on Manage Interac e-Transfer profile
    a. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to set up your Interac e-Transfer profile. You’ll be prompted to enter your name, language and contact method – an email address and/or mobile number. You’ll receive a confirmation email or text message from Interac®. Follow the instructions to confirm your profile.
  4. Scroll down and select the Set up Autodeposit button
  5. Add your legal name
  6. Select Register with and choose either an email or a mobile number
  7. Add in the email address or mobile number
  8. Tap Set up Autodeposit and chose which account you’d like to have money sent via Interac e-Transfer deposited into
  9. Review your information. If it’s all correct, click Set up Autodeposit
  10. You’ll receive an email or text message from Interac. Follow the instructions to complete your registration.
  11. That’s it! You’re registered for Autodeposit. You can register up to five emails address or mobile numbers.
